Conversions

The Star Wars universe uses metric units but True20 is written in American units. This makes certain conversions neccessary and, while accurate conversions can be found, they are not always easy to use. To simplify matters, the following conversion guidelines were used in developing True Star Wars and are recommended for any additional conversions that may be contemplated.

Distances

For converting distances between standard d20 systems and True Star Wars, use a conversion of five feet being two meters. Though inaccurate, this makes for ease of use, particularly when converting for the standard 25mm tactical grid.

Speeds

To convert the maximum speeds of vehicles from miles per hour to kilometers per hour, use a ratio of three kilometers per two miles. This is slightly inaccurate but simple enough to use regularly and easily.

Weights

For converting the weights of objects from pounds to kilograms, the actual conversion is 22 pounds for 10 kilograms. For simplicity, use a conversion of two pounds for one kilogram.
